A Story of Struggle and Overcoming   

Meet Yalesky, an immigrant from Honduras who has faced great challenges on her journey towards a better life. From the language to the culture, everything has been a challenge. However, her spirit of perseverance has led her to adapt and integrate into the community. ​

Since his arrival, Yalesky has found support in institutions and people who share his experience . His greatest achievement has been to start building his own business in the baking sector, restaurante and decorations . Through courses and his own self-teaching, he has found his passion and works tirelessly to see his business grow .His message to other immigrants is clear: "Keep fighting for your dreams. ​

With God's help and effort, everything is possible. It's not easy, but it's not impossible either." Yalesky shares her talent with others, convinced that we all have a gift that we can develop with dedication and effort . She dreams of expanding her business and having branches in the future . She is an example that with faith, courage, and effort, the greatest obstacles can be overcome.

Mirella Proenza Gonzalez, 67 years old. Cuban. 

She arrived in Columbus, Indiana, with a suitcase full of dreams and a heart overflowing with hopes. At 67 years old, this talented Cuban did not let distance or challenges stand in her way. In her homeland, Cuba, she had cultivated a delicate and beautiful art: the creation of flowers with wire, satin ribbon, and organza. This talent, which she had learned and perfected with dedication and love, became her refuge and her source of inspiration. 

The transition to a new life in the United States was not easy. Like many immigrants, she faced linguistic, cultural, and economic barriers. However, her resilient spirit never wavered. She decided to rekindle her passion for crafts, using her skills to create flowers that not only beautify but also tell a story of perseverance and hope.. 

Today, it is not only recognized for its beautiful flowers but also for its bravery and indomitable spirit. Its story is a testament that with passion and determination, any dream can come true. For all those who have left their homes in search of a better life, Mirella reminds them that within each of us, there is a talent waiting to bloom and a unique story waiting to be told.
